Materials
Small ammounts of black, red, yellow, green and blue yarn. I used 4 ply worsted weight.
set of four 4 mm double pointed needles.
Gauge
5 sts/1" 7 rows/1"
Please note that this project is best for using leftover yarn.
With black, cast on 36 sts
Divide onto three needles (12 sts on each)
join in rnd
rnd 1 - k2p2 repeat to end of rnd
repeat rnd 1 three times (four rnds of ribbing)
knit in round for four rounds
four rounds red
two rounds black
four rounds yellow
two rounds black
four rounds green
two rounds black
four rounds blue
Thumb
I did a different style thumb than the other ones. Please bear with me as I try the instructions
four rounds in black
at end of fifth round do not join
work in stockingette until there's fifteen rounds of black. Join in round fifteen
one round black.
two rounds red
one round black
two rounds yellow
one round black
two rounds green
one round black
two rounds blue
three rounds black
Repeat round 1 (k2p2) for four rounds
bind off
